Most recently completed projects include:
- Providing "Old Guard" Regimental Coins to RHFC veterans who served prior to the Regiment’s current practice of issuing challenge coins to serving members, as a means of reconnecting with these important elements of our history; and
- Bringing Light Armoured Vehicle (LAV) Monuments to Cambridge and Kitchener to commemorate the service of Waterloo Region&'s newest veterans – part of the 40,000 young Canadians that served in Afghanistan and the 159 who died during Canada&'s 12-year commitment there.
As well, we’re excited to announce our latest project, the publishing of the early history of our Regiment. "Defence not Defiance: The Militia of Waterloo County, 1812-1914", authored by Maj(Ret) Len Curchin, Professor Emeritus at the University of Waterloo and a Regimental alumnus. The book will be available this year and is the first volume in a detailed history of the RHFC and its predecessor regiments.

The Regimental Trust of the Royal Highland Fusiliers of Canada (RHFC) is a charitable
organization dedicated to supporting RHFC soldiers. Tax receipts are provided for all charitable donations.
- Contributions from friends like you, including current and former unit soldiers, directly support our ongoing Trust Support Programmes including:
- Providing interest free loans to service members to help them through difficult times until they are financially secure;
- Funding educational bursaries that assist deserving unit soldiers in furthering their education;
- Equipping the Regimental Pipes and Drums – enabling them to participate in local community parades and events – including the Oktoberfest and Remembrance Day parades;
- Fostering confidence, teamwork, self-worth, and self-discipline in our youth, by forming and supporting a pipe band school for Cambridge and K-W cadets;
- Supporting the development of museum display cases to showcase our historical artifacts throughout our armouries; and
- Supporting our belief that reserve soldiers need to improve their opportunities in establishing a stable, civilian career outside the Canadian Armed Forces.
LAV III Monument
Support for the Regimental Trust helped bring a Light Armoured Vehicle (LAV) Monuments to Cambridge and Kitchener, commemorating the service of Waterloo Region's Afghanistan Veterans.
